Character Name: Rock “Megaman” Light
Source Canon: Megaman (Classic Series)
Community Tag: Megaman (Rock Light)
Notes: First thing to keep in mind is that Classic Megaman was light on the story front, so Rock's personality isn't expanded upon much at all, even in the later games that actually had cutscenes. Some of this is taken from other depictions of Rock in other media
Another thing to keep in mind is that when it really comes down to it, Rock is a robot who doesn't actually have full free will. He is capable of acting independently and making his own decisions and can experience a wide range of emotions in a fully realistic way, but in the end, he's still at the mercy of his programing to some extent. Part of why he could make the decision to become a fighting robot was because he was programed to help people for example. That could change of course as his program evolves, as learning A.I.s do, but that's the basic gist of it, and it's true of everyone else who possesses the Robot Master AI system, like Roll, Protoman, Bass and even the enemy Robot Masters. He also can't go against the Three Laws of Robotics, or at least not the First one, even though there will a moment where he comes about this close to doing just that late in canon. This one is something not necessarily true of Wily's robots of course since programing the Laws is something mandated by law and Wily is a villain who wants to take over the world, though he would've at least made it so his own robots can't attack him despite that. The first robot created with True Free Will is supposed to be Megaman X.
Addendum: Since the missions I did last time I was here didn't include Rock getting the power crystals for Gamma back, we're going to say Rock and Dr. Light went looking for them while they were gone.
Background: http://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Mega_Man_%28series%29
http://megaman.wikia.com/wiki/Mega_Man_%28character%29
Personality: Rock is pretty much your average kid hero, cheerful and optimistic, with a strong sense of justice and a lot of courage. Even though he wasn't originally created or programed to be a combat robot, his strong need to help and his sense of right and wrong motivate him to do whatever it takes to protect others and help however he can. Of course his previous occupation isn't always to his benefit. He's like his creator in that he doesn't really like violence much, so it wasn't really easy to adjust to the idea of fighting and destroying his fellow robots at first, but he's also adaptable and at least with the first six he had the comfort that Dr. Light would repair them and restore their original programing in the end.
He's also naïve and a bit too trusting, a trait that he also seems to share with his creator and leads him to get duped by Wily and his increasingly transparent attempts to pin the blame on someone other than himself, but that's partly due to wanting to believe in the good in everyone and partly because Dr. Light himself wants to believe that Wily can still be reformed and Rock, when it comes right down to it, is still a robot and doesn't quite think to question whether maybe Light is a bit blinded by the fact that he and Wily used to be friends once to see that the man is irreversibly nuts and will probably never reform, so he mostly does what Dr. Light tells him to do without questioning much due to that and trusting his creator.
Due to his previous occupation as Dr. Light's lab assistant, he also enjoys tinkering with things, and is still fascinated by machinery. He still sometimes helps Dr. Light in the lab because of this, even after he builds Auto to take over this function. This is also why he likes doing Rush's maintenance himself. This doesn't exactly make him smart. He can actually behave rather stupid at times, at least when it comes to things not related to robots and machinery. There's a difference between being programed to understand things and actually understanding certain things after all, like the fact that humans can't catch robot viruses (see both him and Bass initially thinking that Wily, who had come down with the Flu, had caught Roboenza, a robotic virus that admittedly did cause some robots to exhibit flu like symptoms). However considering he wasn't programed for combat, but still managed to learn how to fight on his own, he could probably learn any number of other things if given the opportunity and this can improve over time.
Capabilities and Resources: Aside from being a fighting robot, he was originally created and programed to be Dr. Light's lab assistant and knows how to handle and repair machinery, which means if need be he can help out the mechanics.
Robot Name: Megaman
Robot Description: He's a small humanoid robot in blue armor, about the size of a 10 year old boy, though he's way stronger and far more durable. His main weapon is his Mega Buster canon, which fires quick energy bursts and can be charged to fire a single stronger energy burst. His other, far more versatile ability is the Copy Chip, which allows him to acquire the weapons of any Robot Masters he defeats.
On the Copy Chip:
First off, when I say it's meant to Copy Robot Master abilities, I mean only Robot Masters with only a few exceptions. The Megaman Killer series of robots and the Stardroids, both from the Game Boy games. This presumably because they use the same kind of weapon system as the Robot Masters, otherwise I don't really know why. The only time he ever got an attack from a non-robot master it was his obviously non-canon ending in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
He can only use one weapon at a time, needing to switch to a new weapon before he can use it, and each weapon, unlike his Mega Buster, has a limited energy supply.
Weapons From the First Six Robot Masters (As an example, also his starting weapons):
Rolling Cutter
Cutman's special Weapon. It allows Megaman to generate and launch large a super sharp scissor blade at enemies like a boomerang. It cuts through strong armor more easily than the Mega Buster can.
Super Arm
Gutsman's Special Weapon. Not a projectile weapon like the others, it instead enhances Megaman's already greater than human strength to the level of Gutsman, who was built to help with construction work in dangerous areas and could lift things a hundred times heavier than him. In the games this allowed Megaman to lift boulders to throw at enemies or unblock secrets in certain levels, but this could have bigger applications in the RP.
Ice Slasher
Iceman's Special weapon. Fires an arrow shaped blade of ice that can damage or freeze enemies. He can only fire one at a time though, unlike Iceman who can fire up to the three in rapid succession. It is somehow capable of freezing flames, possibly because part of the attack uses liquid nitrogen, the rest you shouldn't question.
Hyper Bomb
Bombman's weapon. As the name suggests, it lets him generate and throw a bomb that will detonate a few seconds later, causing a decent sized explosion that does a considerable amount of damage to most mooks and some to bosses too.
Fire Storm
Fireman's weapon. Megaman can both create a brief shield of flames around himself that damages enemies it touches and shoot a fireball at enemies.
Thunder Beam
Elecman's weapon. As the name suggests, it allows him to fire three beams of electricity in three directions at once (forward, up and down). It's probably the most powerful of the weapons he can get from the original six and is strong enough to break boulders and armor. It probably wouldn't work against enemies who's armor has been built to withstand energy weapons though.
Additional Weapons Aquired Last Time he Was with the Chalice
Search Snakes
Snakeman's Weapon. Megaman launches a small snake shaped device that moves across the ground and can cling to walls and ceilings. It's a homing attack that zeroes in on the nearest enemy on any surface.
Magnet Missiles
Magnetman's Weapon. Megaman fires magnet shaped projectiles. These missiles will automatically be attracted to any metal object it's aimed at, so it's also a homing attack.
Hard Knuckle
Hardman's weapon. Megaman launches a fist at the target. It's a slow but powerful attack that's trajectory can be guided by Megaman to a limited degree.
Gemini Laser
Geminiman's weapon: Megaman shoots a beam of energy that ricochet's off surfaces at an angle for a few minutes. Normally, Megaman can only shoot one laser at a time and can't switch to a new power so long as the laser is still active.
Terrain Stats:

Air: E
Sea: B
Space: E
Robot Name: Rush
Robot Description: A red medium sized robodog. Rush is basically a walking Swiss Army knife, capable of transforming into a variety of forms, such as a hover board, a submarine, and a motor bike, thus increasing his master's mobility on all terrains. He can also pop a spring from his back to give his master a quick boost up to a higher ledge if that's all he needs, and has a movie projector in his back too, though that last doesn't really have a mission application.

Upgrades:
Robot Name: Beat
Robot Description: Not really a traditional super robot upgrade of course, but after the events of Megaman 4, Dr. Cossack will build Beat for Megaman as thanks for helping him. He's a robot bird who kinda looks like a blue and white ball with wings and a beak, but he's stronger than he looks. He's an attack bird who can take down mooks, but wouldn't really be able to take on most bosses. He can also carry things far bigger than he is, like Megaman, for short distances, though obviously Rush is still a better mode of transportation than him.
Robot Name:Super Adapter
Robot Description An Upgrade for Rush, which allows him to combine with Megaman to create a powered armor that is stronger than his normal armor and gives Megaman a Rocket Punch attack in place of his buster as well as the ability to fly. He can't use any of the Robot Master Weapons while equipping the Super Adapter though.
Job: Super Fighting Robot, possible part time assistant mechanic?
Suggested Event List: I didn't exactly have one last time, so I'm just going to work it out with Steam (somehow I got him confused with TK/Nightlit >>; or maybe he did help last time, I don't quite remember).
